I am an experienced piano teacher (classical or pop) teaching from beginner up to Grade 8 and Senior Certificate level. I also teach harmony/counterpoint/form & history and aural work from beginner to Diploma level. Piano lessons are given on a beautiful Yamaha U3 upright professional piano in my own studio in Dublin 8. This piano’s highly sensitive touch and dynamic keyboard action allows the student to develop a finer musical interpretation and sound piano technique.

Lessons are given on a “one-to-one” basis as each student is unique with his/her own individual requirements. All levels and abilities are catered for. Piano lessons are given in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, the emphasis being on the students’ full enjoyment of the music they wish to study and realising their full musical potential. As a teacher, my aim is always to pass on a solid grounding in piano playing technique and encourage a love of music in each student.
